Besides video/image rendering HTML5 has many other features like offline processing, great canvas, web workers and Geo.

Many popular browsers has already started implementing HTML5 features like FF, Chrome, Opera, IE(!!!). iPhone and Android is also supporting HTML5 with newer updates.

Yes it would definitely take time to become standard but it would make the web much easier than what it is.</description>
